Disclosure: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Dunkin' Donuts. I received a Dunkin' Donuts Party Kit to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
The weather this past weekend was a little scary. I could of sworn it was still Spring but it felt like Summertime was already here! Hot weather in the South is no joke – I usually have a drink attached to my side throughout the day. Coffee is my usual go to for a pick me up but I usually go for something a little colder in the hot months so Iced Coffee usually replaces it. I've been getting a little tired of the same flavored Iced Coffees which is why I was super excited to have been chosen to host a Dunkin' Donuts party trying out three new Seasonal flavors – Strawberry Shortcake, Coconut & Triple Berry.
My sister is graduating High School next week & we had a get together to plan her party this past weekend – my house was full of coffee lovers that were more than eager to try the new flavors out but we had a house divided. Some were already Dunkin' Donuts lovers but others were loyal to their own brands. When a couple of my family members saw the flavors, they almost left the room – coffee that tastes like Strawberry Shortcake? Coconut? And berries? They were a little more than skeptical but once I brewed the coffee, they came back intrigued by the delicious scent coming from the kitchen – that and I had bought in a couple of boxes of Dunkin' Donuts. 😉 Hey, It can't be a Dunkin' Donuts party without their donuts, right? 😛
Now on to the taste testing! We had made enough hot coffee and Iced coffee of each kind for everyone to try out. The Strawberry Shortcake tasted like….Strawberry Shortcake. You can definitely taste it & the verdict on this was one was that everyone preferred it Iced – hands down.
I think this will most definitely be my new go to flavor for the summer. The Triple Berry tasted like berries – mostly blueberries – this is another one that almost everyone preferred Iced. The Coconut flavor is the one that surprised everyone. Seriously, everyone thought they would hate but it was the one that everyone loved the most – the coconut taste wasn't overbearing at all – making it taste great hot as well as iced.
All those that were so loyal to their brands were wanting to sneak out more than one gift bag! So much for being loyal – I'm pretty sure they're Dunkin' Donuts fans now! They all left happily with their gift bags which included the Iced Coffee recipe. If you usually go out & buy your Iced Coffees, I encourage you to try making them yourself. They're super easy to make! Here's the recipe that we used below.
Dunkin' Donuts Iced Coffee

These Dunkin' Donuts seasonal flavors are only available for a limited time so if you're interested in trying them out, hurry out & get them before they're gone! We loved them & can't wait to try out what other flavors they have in store for the other seasons but these are definitely getting us in the mood for summertime! Are they worth a try? Most definitely!
