Disclosure: I am a Feld Family Ambassador, and in exchange for my time and efforts in attending shows and reporting my opinion within this blog, as well as keeping you advised of the latest discount offers, Feld Entertainment has provided me with complimentary tickets to Feld shows and opportunities to attend private Feld pre-Show events. Even though I receive these benefits, I always give an opinion that is 100% mine.
On Wednesday night, my family & I were able to attend the Disney on Ice Presents Worlds of Fantasy show. I was a little worried that we weren't going to be able to make it to the show on time since my husband gets out a bit late from work. I was getting ready to give my son the bad news that maybe his Dad wouldn't join us when he shows up walking through the front door. He wanted to surprise us so he left work a little early. Luckily, the arena isn't so far from where we live so once he was ready, we rushed out & made it 10 minutes before the show was set to start. The box office was full and my anxiety returned – I was sure my son would miss some part of the show but the lines were moving fast & we made it to our seats with about 5 seconds to spare. Literally. We sat down and before we knew it, Mickey and the Gang came out to greet everyone. Which by the way, I think is great that even if it's for a little bit, the kids get to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald & Goofy. My son has yet to go to Disney World or Disney Land & he gets excited whenever he sees them at a Disney On Ice show.
The Worlds of Fantasy show was everything we thought it would be. Fun & entertaining from start to finish. The show starts off with Mickey & Minnie having car trouble & who better to help them with car trouble than Tow Mater & all the Cars characters? Once the car is fixed, we get to visit other worlds – under the sea with Princess Ariel & friends, Tinkerbell & all of the fairies & after the intermission, everyone's favorite – Toy Story! During the intermission, we were able to check out the stands and cool down with some lemonade before returning to the fun. Everything was great – we just wish the parts with the Cars & The Little Mermaid lasted a little bit longer. I noticed that those were the ones that the kids enjoyed greatly – especially when the bubbles came floating down on them during a Little Mermaid song. Other than that, amazing – we absolutely loved it all – from the songs, the beautiful visuals, and of course, the amazing skating.
My son, most importantly, had a blast & even my husband was out taking pictures & posting them to his Facebook. He especially loved the songs that they kept playing during the Toy Story part. I had fun taking pictures but I took so many that I think I would slow down your computers tremendously if I posted them all. lol. I tried making a gallery of some which you can check out below. The pictures are in no particular order. I wish I could post more but I don't want to crash anyone's computer. x_x (Just click on an image & click on it again to make it bigger.)
If you haven't been to a Disney on Ice show, I highly recommend it! You and your kids will love it – I more than guarantee it. All of the parents that I talked to at the show were so happy to see their kids having so much fun!
If you live in the Atlanta area, there's still time to catch a show – the Disney on Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy show will be here until Sunday, May 5, 2013. You can check out my previous post to check out the remaining schedule & times as well as a discount code by clicking here. 🙂
This isn't our first & it definitely isn't our last Disney on Ice show – we'll keep going every time they come into town! It gets a big thumbs up from me & my family! 😀
