My son & I have been fans of Howard B. Wigglebottom books for a while now. The books, part of the We Do Listen Foundation, are made by writers, artists, designers, parents, educators, therapists & teachers so you know that the books are very educational and kid friendly. Each book comes with resources to help you talk about the book topic and you can even go online to get even more resources and songs that your child can sing along to.
The book we were able to review was Howard B. Wigglebottom Learns About Courage. In this book, Howard shares the same fears that many kids today have. Where they might be scared of loud noises or strangers. Howard meets a bird that teaches him that it's okay to be scared – being scared of something helps you build up courage by conquering that fear.
My son really enjoyed this book. He loves Super Heroes & I love that they included his favorites as some who have courage to battle things that might even scare them!
This is one of the best series of books that I've been able to review – after we read the books we usually end up checking out the interactive version of it. From learning how to have courage to learning how to deal with bullies – Howard B. Wigglebottom books are the perfect series to help teach kids get through these situations and even gives parents & teachers the resources to help kids. To learn more about Howard B.
