The day before I left to go home from the #DisneyMoviesEvent I attended back in September, we were able to see a screening of Disney & Pixar's Monsters, Inc. 3D. A favorite among my family. And now, 11 years after it's original release, we are going to be able to enjoy it in 3D! I don't mind re-releases in 3D -especially if I love the movie. Which luckily, I did with Monsters, Inc.! And trust me, seeing it in 3D was not disappointing at all!
By now, I'm sure you know of the city of Monstrapolis – where the screams of human children are needed to power the city! In this city is where the monsters in your closet actually live but these monsters have a little secret. They're actually scared of human kids so imagine the chaos that ensues when one happens to show up in Monstrapolis! Top scarer Sulley and his assistant Mike Wazowski do what they can to make sure the child goes back home safe. With the scarers having a change of heart on scaring children, how will the city of Monstrapolis survive without their main source of power? You're going to have to watch the movie if you haven't already to find out what happens!
Yes, this is the same great movie you saw many years ago but trust me, you're going to want to see it in 3D. It's visually stunning. You feel like you're in their world & you notice things you normally wouldn't. My favorite scene was when they went into the vault with all of the doors. Wow is all I can say. It's full of laughs that both children & adults can enjoy. I seriously can't wait to see it again!
Luckily I won't have to wait long, as it's being released next week & we are definitely going to see it! I'm sure it's going to get us even more hyped up for Monsters University which is set to release next year!
If you're a fan of the original movie, you'll love it just as much in 3D! You can catch Monsters, Inc. in 3D starting December 19, 2012! 😀
Thanks to Disney, I was sent on an all expense paid trip including airfare, hotel accommodations & transportation while in Los Angeles. However, all opinions stated are 100% my own.
