So I take it you've all gone to see Lincoln out in theaters? If you have, *high five*. If you haven't, you have to see it! It's a must-see & I'm not the only one who thinks so! This movie is geared towards adults but kids are actually getting interested in wanting to know more about America's 16th President.

Harold Holzer, noted historian and the author of dozens of books on Lincoln and the Civil War– who also served as a consultant on the movie–wrote a new book especially for young readers that could become one of the official tie-ins to the movie. The book includes 30 archival photographs, a brief chronology, historical character list, text of several Lincoln writings, bibliography, and end notes. It's a must for any young reader who's fascinated by the President who did what he had to do to re-unite the country and abolish slavery.

Lincoln: How Abraham Lincoln Ended Slavery in America is now available to buy on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, & Books-a-Million.
